Medi-Share sponsors Heroes Honor Festival 2022 and joins Governor Desantis, Toby Keith, and others in honoring Vietnam Veterans

Christian Care Ministry/ Medi-Share, America’s leading health care sharing ministry sponsors 2-day patriotic event. In addition, Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share employees are also volunteering at the event, using their employee-provided volunteer paid time off.

Open to the public over Memorial Day weekend at the Daytona International Speedway, in Daytona Beach, Florida, the two-day celebration will feature world-class country music entertainment, a ticker-tape parade, interactive exhibits, reunions and a veteran’s resource expo. The event will be livestreamed by Fox Nation.

Organized by the non-profit Engage Your Destiny (EYD) and the 9/11 generation of wartime veterans, the Heroes Honor Festival (HHF) is a public tribute to celebrate and honor Vietnam veterans – acknowledgement they did not receive when they returned home 50 years ago.

Vietnam Veterans will be recognized for being the guardians of honor they are to our men and women in uniform. It is a grand display of appreciation from 9/11 era veterans and citizens to our Vietnam Veterans.

Dr. Alesia Greene, Medical Director for Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share, served more than 20 years in the military before working on staff at Medi-Share, one of the primary sponsors of the event. She expressed pride and honor in the fact that her organization was involved in the Heroes Honor Festival.

“I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to serve our nation as a physician for 25 years in the United States Air Force, providing care for our veterans and their families,” said Dr. Greene. “These folks sacrifice so much through their service and deserve the best we have to offer.  I appreciate the heart behind the Heroes Honor Festival, honoring those Vietnam Veterans who have faced so many challenges over the past 50 years. As we prepare for Memorial Day, let us not forget these serviceman and their families, especially those who have given their lives in safeguarding our nation.”

Tickets are still available. Veterans, Active Military, their spouces, and their kids under 12, can register for free.
